We All Have “Special Needs”
The term “special needs” has some recognizable associations that put people in certain categories. But we all have qualities that make us unique in ways we stand out from others. Our
stories bring about newness in how they tell about us and capture the reader’s
or listener’s attention. Relying on
individuals or people as our Support Group to edify/build-up/encourage us
through challenges can also strengthen us in incredible ways.
When
we’re teaching a person something we could also learn from that person possibly
if we are open to that. The ways we
perceive information can be an important step in the learning process.
I
recently heard, “You cannot stop the chaos.
But you can find order in it.” It
also included, “I love you because you bring order to my chaos.” It can be an important step to normalizing
our life.
