We Are All Wounded Healers

We Are All Wounded Healers

We are all wounded at times, feeling broken.  But just as bread must be broken to be shared, maybe when we’re broken we’re being prepared to be shared.

Our woundedness could be a way of helping someone down the line, in their need.  A person brought to our path might be seeking that which is offered by the lessons we bring.

When we find a cure it also includes a message to others to allow the healing to be passed forward.  Paying attention can open so much that our mind processes with powerful energy.

Linking with another is a connection giving us a perspective we might not have thought of on our own.  Finding somebody who’s been hurting to an extent they’re ready to share may help both them and us.

The bond that brings us together could enhance each of us with great care and kindness raising each to a height previously unrealized.  We may embrace a heart so tender that we’re brought to a new level.  Share openly.

Grace Doesn’t Have Power Outages

Grace Doesn’t Have Power Outages

Grace is a gift given to us, but we have to receive it, unwrap it and put it to use.  It is in abundant supply, with no power outages in sight.  There is no shortage in the gifts available to our needs.

When we place ourselves in quiet zones then the inner voice has a better chance to be heard.  The messages spoken to us are louder and we are able to receive clearer thoughts and words.

The strength of what comes across can have great effect in our lives and tremendous affect on the actions that influence those brought to our path, accomplishing the deeds we’re meant to do.  Paying attention to the resounding messages so available to us can enlighten us to heights not previously imagined.

If only we pay attention, perspectives can be opened to incredible dimensions, allowing light to shine in as well as spill out onto others.  When we let ideas in growth can occur, and blossom into beautiful creativity.

Every breath is a chance to make something happen and bless the world around us in ways that share caring and kindness to illuminate what others see.  When we plug in to possibilities then magnificent things are in our grasp.  Let Power-Full blessings flow.

Learn To Live Loved -- Live Authentic Lives

Learn To Live Loved

Live Authentic Lives

A recent reflection included “Go soul deep and explore”.  And I’ve heard many describe themselves as “Old Souls”.  I think this means having a good understanding of ourselves and our capabilities.

To know we are loved gives us a valued and valuable sense that lifts our self-esteem to incredible heights.  When we learn to appreciate our own gifts or those of others it can be beneficial to the very life we’re living.

Authentic characteristics build incredible worth for us and others that we encounter, giving so much enhancement beyond what we’ve imagined.  A precious perspective fills the viewpoint in ways allowing us to grow to great dimensions.

Seeing ourselves as loved expands the person we are into who we can be, becoming the best version of who we’re created to be.  The true reflection lets us see things we might not have previously noticed.

Learning is asking questions in areas that may have been unchallenged, and we may find answers with new information, leading us into discovering fresh views.  When we realize we’re loved we find we’re fully alive.  Live loved.

Lagniappe

Lagniappe

Lagniappe – (Lan-Yap) In the town of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, there is a church named Lagniappe.  It is an old Creole word that means “something extra”.  Pastor Jean Larroux explains, "Down here if you go into a seafood shop and order a pound of shrimp and they put in an extra handful, that's the lagniappe.  It's something you can't pay for. Something for nothing. Something for free."

That “Something for free” is a blessing for us affecting our life, while also having an effect on others we encounter.  We could be the something extra gift in another’s life to improve their perspective.

The added handful might enhance the viewpoint bringing to life their joy to share with others.  A “pay it forward” example may make a needed action happen.

We can encourage those brought to our path in many ways, sharing our gifts and talents to enliven their existence.  Other languages open us to so much giving a rich base propelling us toward previously unseen heights.

At a group we got a question “What is our responsibility in prayer?”  In reflecting on it I felt like the answer was “… to build community.”  Boost one another.
