Welcome Change

Welcome Change

During your transformation you might feel like everything is falling apart, but everything is coming together for your highest good.  Your being pushed and evolved to get out of your comfort zone so you can live and experience your true greatness.

Our environment being modified is a renewal in many ways, taking us in various directions.  Seeing different levels may give a perspective we’d not realized possible.

For us to welcome alternatives could open new viewpoints presenting refashioned sights we may not have envisioned.  Converted musings could lead toward blessings that enhance our growth in unexpected methods.

When we face realities to bring us reflections with significant results, the revelations found can show immense details.  Our openness to diverse options might bring amazing gifts, if only we’ll unpack them and put them to use.

We can be made anew through situations that may seem harsh, but have blessings tied in.  The adjustments available unto us can prove quite valuable and precious.  Change will happen; accept it and pass it on.

Palanca for Cursillo #308 & #309

 Palanca for Cursillo #308 & #309

I Have ……

… Fought the Good Fight,

... Finished the Race,

... Kept the Faith

Cursillo #308 (April 2024)

We’re challenged to keep going, to do the task ahead.

And to keep God in our lives, doing God’s Will.

Placed in environments, planted among brothers.

God has chosen ones to be in our path.

I have …… received enough to keep going, and finish.

Keep the faith, we can accomplish what has already been set.

Staying connected, so much can be done.

The “I Have ……” becomes “We Have ……”; We did it!

God is Faithful, Abounding in Faithfulness

Cursillo #309 (April 2024)

We are blessed with the loving faithfulness of God.

And given many that are placed in our environments.

Invited to experience this weekend among these souls,

There’s incredible blossoming where we’re planted.

The faithful Presence of God surrounds us.

As we receive, we’re now challenged to share.

Filled to overflowing, now we spill onto others.

Abundantly gifted with grace, sparkling we are.

Brightly renewed God sends us out shining.

The fields are so ready, God needs our help reaping.

Palanca

This term was introduced to me as a Spanish word meaning “lever” to lift another toward God with prayer and sacrifice.  Then a note of support and encouragement can be added to communicate the feelings to one or more people.

Let Life In

Let Life In

In a recent Terry Hershey reflection he used a made-up word “Absorbedness”, which he said means “Let Life In.”  Be open to new experiences that they can enhance our lives.

In January 2002 my Mother-in-Law’s mother passed away, and she asked me to officiate the celebration of life ceremony.  I penned a poem, “For A Reason, For A Season, For A Lifetime” that summed up Diane’s place in many lives.

Our Reason could be varied, the Season may be short or long, and for some of us it might be a Lifetime presence.  The Life we include into our  existence can bless us to a great measure.

Fully living extends our growth to levels beyond imagining into spaces we may not have considered.  The clues to solving mysteries could lead us in directions not previously envisioned.

Ideas to renewal might bring evidence that digs up precious things we may thought lost.  When something is presented to us in a fresh way, facts would cause a change in perspective, giving us a new viewpoint.  Insights that enliven our growth and expand the life we live.

Can’t Eliminate Pain & Suffering -- But We Can Illuminate The Effect Of It

Can’t Eliminate Pain & Suffering

But We Can Illuminate The Effect Of It

Pain and suffering are a part of life for most of us, and something we can’t eliminate.  But shining a light onto it we can illuminate the effect of it, into the blessing it can become.

The issues and challenges we face could boost us toward progress in ways that enhance our growth.  Our strides to accomplish great feats may launch incredible prospects in phenomenal directions.

Making discomfort a positive can be a healing process, turning set-backs into hope.  To focus on our hurts and injuries, but in a method to fix them might turnaround the situation allowing us to see it differently.

One author has used “classroom of silence” to allow us to get into quiet places so meditating and receiving guidance fills us with perspective that enlivens us.  The beauty outcome reveals a sensation that has such a presentation to our lives allowing an overflowing to happen.

The shining into and through us makes a glowing burst forth changing us and others too.  Shining can have a magnificent outcome affecting many that can also be transmitted forward.  Light may be spilled as blessings.

Don’t Discriminate; Just Love

Don’t Discriminate; Just Love

We have many choices about people that can categorize them into negative ways.  But our challenge is to love each as they are and put them in the best possible light.

A friend told me of a ministry in a prison where the mantra is “Listen, listen; Love, love.”  When we can be open to see from another’s viewpoint then a different perspective might be revealed to us.

Our decisive choosing can have vital results and impacts situations with great authority.  Loving actions might make valuable family outcomes occur, while building community.

There are so many opportunities for us to make good in our doing, as well as inspire others.  The “Just Love” is a chance to be serving with joyful words and actions.

The charitable look puts other’s needs into our mindsets, giving fresh sights bringing bursts of magnificent visions to us.  Being sent on a mission to love one another to great levels that they too can share blessings.  Love to live to love.

Resurrection Visibility Day

Resurrection Visibility Day

Easter Sunday was celebrated March 31st, 2024.  Dr. Scott Hahn’s use of the phrase Resurrection visibility day to commemorate this occasion is unique.  I had never heard these words to describe it.

When we open ourselves to different perspectives the richness so enhances our growing in faith.  Plus anything we share can be a blessing for all that are brought to our path.

As we come closer to God our nearness to other people can also be achieved.  The light of Christ fills us to the point it spills onto others that are close to us too.

Jesus’ resurrection, when visible to us allows growth in our faith that rejuvenates the viewpoint of all we contact.  The empty tomb has sparked the living into our existence, giving hope to us and many.

The holy Presence fills us with a sense of community making us a stronger communion.  We are sent forward on mission to carry the Jesus we’ve received and challenged to share with all.  See and receive, be and spill onward and outward.
