 Things That Take Us Away From Home

          There is much that remove us from our comfortable environment into an area of negativity.  Some of them are anger, busyness, self-importance, unforgiveness, discouragement, despair, heartache.

          Someone once said these kinds of things are negatives that develop in the darkrooms of our lives.  If we dwell on bad things we may get stuck on what brings us down into holes that are troublesome to get out of.

          In such experiences we’re drawn away from people or methods that support us.  The challenges we face also have lessons to teach us that can be inspiring and uplifting.

          Just walking through life can be a blessing too if we are open to opportunities.  Something negative might show a positive side that may be available if only we can see our way through.

          Looking to help others can lift us out of our own predicament, leading us to a place that is familiar.  Being part of a Support Group for another can be a needed step and the benefit to our own situation.  We could return to the home environment giving us the peace we seek.

Enough ______ Makes Life Meaningful

          There is so much that can fill up our lives and make it more meaningful.  Our existence may be so abundant that it not only blesses us, but also spills onto others around us in various ways.

          What defines our contents can give us so much that fulfill our being to such a point where we are worth an incredible amount.  The things that flavor our lives bring out amazing juiciness from each ingredient contained.

          Our lives are filled with talents and experiences displaying artwork so phenomenal, and illuminating very bright.  The creativity within is quite abounding while at the same time is inspiring others to become their best selves.

          Recipes that make us who we are piece together a terrific dish with tastiness that is quite exuberant.  When we shine immensely others pick up on that brightness which affects them too and improves their outlook also.

          We are truly more because each part of us contributes something grand.  Our foundation and construction build many great things that give our lives that which is meaningful as well as meaning-full to where we can spill over onto all that is brought to our path.

Fix What Is Within Reach

Many challenges we face are fixable by efforts we can exert and tools available to us.  Also if answers aren’t ones we can provide, knowing who and what to ask is a helpful step.

          The things that are in need of repair and close to us may be quite easily fixable.  Some items require tinkering to get them in shape as the blessing they were meant to be.

          There are ways to bring about usefulness to objects that are so reachable, and within our grasp.  The things we do can accomplish much and make a lot happen.

          We may be examples to others as lessons, by being available in various environments.  Just going about our daily experiences can have an incredible impact, maybe even beyond what we see.  The recipient may get somethings that we didn’t realize were even available.

          Things we notice as broken may have flaws that require minimal attention to restore it to workable status.  Setting priorities for what’s closer might get more done in the repairs needed.

Miracles Are Closer Than We Think

          The miraculous things impacting our lives can be within reach and closer to us than we realize.  Results that produce what are seen as impressive moments clear up the fogginess that impedes our vision.

          We see things as lessons that can be so new to us, what God wants to show with such clarity.  When we’re open to possibilities, so much can be revealed to us.  Witnessing through eyes of faith can bring us closer to God, which also builds bonds with community.

          By God working in our lives everything is holier now and we are at a better level than we were at previously.  Places where we see God’s Presence improves our outlook greatly.

          Having miracles affect our lives can also make us shine so bright that is also spilling onto others increasing God’s kingdom.  Beyond blurry views can show us things so incredible and give us such amazing perspectives.

          Ways that build up our relationships are also a Support Group in many aspects.  We may not immediately see or appreciate the benefits of what is handed to us through the miracles.  In reflection about a situation more appreciation is gained and in discussion there’s understanding revealed to us.  We are so blessed mightily and holiness abounds.

Leaning In Reveals More

          At a clean-up service project I was picking up some trash and noticed some garbage under a bush.  As I leaned down to get the items it was noticeable that there were more objects further in,

          A lesson learned from that was as we get closer we can see more that needs our attention.  I could not have seen that extra stuff from a standing position and had to get closer to the bush’s level to get what it revealed.

The same is true about children, and others too.  Getting closer to people, including kids, we pick up things because we are close enough to notice details that may be harder to grasp from a distance.

          When closeness is encountered the revelations are quite amazing, and we learn some lessons about the relationships when we’re open to see more.  The things we perceive can teach us about much that bring an understanding quite revelationary.

          Getting close to an object or a person can raise our sights beyond the current standards and bring us to a newness that may be so refreshing.  We might see differently showing something we’ve not been aware of before.  The act of leaning closer could be what is needed to strengthen bonds helping one or both.

Blessings Come Wrapped In Trials

          We all face various challenges and there are also rewards that come our way.  Sometimes the blessings revealed to us may be wrapped in trials that inflict the life we live.

          The package we’ve gotten might ultimately contain something that is rewarding to us a so valuable result.  What comes out of the trials are new lessons that teach us things so incredibly and open possibilities to opportunities.

          Things that come into our lives approach us in ways unknown and sometimes disguised as problematic.  We might not realize the benefit initially and it may take some struggle before seeing the blessing it shows itself to be.

          One lesson I’ve learned is we don’t fully understand or appreciate what we are going through while we’re going through it.  In pondering and reflecting we get a fuller appreciation, plus also discussing about it gives us a better understanding.

          By unwrapping the package (the gift) and putting its contents to use we gain much more in the revelations.  The teachings for our lives are so gratifying and fulfilling; we are quite blessed.

More Than Just A ______

More Than “Just A ______”

          What we do and are comprise a part of us and not the totality of our being.  The components of our makeup are merely building blocks to the foundation of the person we’ve become.

          One of the things I do is volunteer at a hospital.  In that capacity I am a “greeter” welcoming people, finding wheelchairs and bringing them to the lobby, and delivering items to nurse’s stations for patients.

          Another role I’ve played is a “Catechist.”  That meant I led Religious Education classes for children, youth and adults.  In that I was a storyteller, and explained religious items and practices.  I also asked questions to let participants come to their own conclusions.

          Each of us is part of the growing in faith process for others.  We are God’s way of reaching out to people, and being blessings.  Also things that are prayed for are answered with messengers sent.

          When we grow in faith because of another’s involvement or sharing that might spark an idea to renew us toward something beyond a current location.  The version of ourselves could be improved with newer characteristics and possibilities previously unknown.

          The things we consume are more than what we eat and drink.  What is also seen and heard are items that enter our bodies and minds.

          Music/songs, movies and books can influence us in many ways with ideas quite immensely.  The choices made are so important in filling our being.

          Tiny changes in our environments can make a big difference and our perceptions feed foundations in significant methods.  These adjustments might alter things we know and share with others.

          What we take in has quite an effect on our thoughts, words, actions, habits, behavior and character.  Ultimately each of these work together to determine the destiny we are headed toward.

          What we consume has an intricate effect on the person we are and the choices we make.  Each item we ingest, or things that infiltrate our bodies and minds affect the actions we do and anything we choose.
