Be Re-STORY-ed to be Restored
We all have a story to tell, and that is a
significant part of our journey. The
details are relevant and if we get lost along the way remembering the story can
be an important part of restoring who we are.
Henry David Thoreau said, “Not until we are lost, do we begin to
understand ourselves.”
Recalling pieces of our background may
add memories to the very structure that is life-giving. It might also build us up in ways to enhance
our being to become the best versions of ourselves.
The words that make-up our lives fill
us with great ingredients and flavor our existence to inspire others that cross
paths with us. Our experiences are like
recipes, mixed together with amazing methods of reaching out to all.
Blending each part can also reveal
newness that opens possibilities previously unknown. Being grateful adds more to our lives than
grate-full activities. We should be
better not bitter in our interactions.
