Being Full You’re Not Ready To Receive
When we approach a situation filled, we’re unable to take in more, whether food or information or anything else. We must let go of things we contain to be able to receive. If
we’re saturated coming into a situation, the hunger for anything we want is beyond
satisfying. In a class a teacher would
have the students share some things about their day or week, with the premise
that they couldn’t get something out of the class until they made some room.
So
whether its food or information or anything else, some space must be
created. Else there’s no room for
whatever is presented to the person. To
be able to take in anything we have to make clearance allowing capacity for
more.
There
is only so much space we have, and if we stuff ourselves it can become
uncomfortable. We must create room that
can be filled with whatever comes our way.
