The Job That Nobody Did

The Job That Nobody Did

Here’s the story, titled “Whose Job Is It, Anyway?”

This is a story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody. There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody’s job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn’t do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have.

The things we can do may not be extravagant, but the simple can be affective and effective.  I’ve heard “The things that can be counted may not not count, and what counts may not be able to be counted.”

I’ve heard questions like “Did I offer peace today?  Did I bring a smile to someone's face?  Did I say words of healing?  Did I let go of my anger and resentment?  Did I forgive?  Did I love?  These are the real questions. I must trust that the little bit of love that I sow now will bear many fruits, here in this world and the life to come.” -- Henri Nouwen

What we do can have a great impact on others with amazing results, ones with outreach into many peoples lives.  The job accomplished can readily be just the fulfillment needed by another.

Be the spark that answers someone’s prayer, and makes something happen and changes occur.  We may be the substitute for the “Nobody” person and satisfy “Everybody”, “Anybody”, and “Somebody”.

Don’t Wait for ____ to Start ____!

Don’t Wait for ____ to Start ____!

(for that perfect point)

There are many opportunities to start things in our lives, and we may wait for the right time for that to happen.  That “perfect point” to begin might be take us to immense progressions.

Everything in our lives had a beginning place, and maybe some struggles ensued as we grew.  Challenges in our path helped us achieve such greatness that came by way of treasures we pocketed.

If we put off the starting of something because of that whatever holding us back then it delays the benefits we’d receive.  When we make a decision and move forward, it accomplishes what can be blessings for us and others.

We have so much potential to offer positivity in many ways and to many people.  Our starting point to jump into action and be kind and caring is the needed spark that the world is looking for.

The beginning of progress starts with people like us, and we can do so much to build our community.  Inspiring others could be within our grasp, that much more can be done.  If not now then when, if not us then who?

Someone Sees Us As POTP (Part Of Their Problem)

Someone Sees Us As POTP

(Part Of Their Problem)

We interact with each other all the time, at times grating, or also gratiating.  Maybe we’re seen as POTP (Part Of Their Problem), and they treat us accordingly.

If a person has some negative impressions of us their actions might be degrading or demeaning.  That shouldn’t reduce us to a level beneath the upstanding character we have.

Improving our environment should be our goal and we could strive to become the best version of ourselves.  The impact we have on others can pick them up and give a better outlook.

They might not see the value in us, but that shouldn’t matter.  Our actions could still be focused on goodness, improving the surrounding we have.

How we’re seen isn’t relative to who we are and how we act.  Being our best raises our esteem-ation to levels that can be greatly impactful to all who receive it well.

A Round TUIT

A Round TUIT

There are many tasks on our list, maybe too much for the time we have for accomplishing them.  We might be saying “I’ll get around to it, eventually.”

Well, someone designed “A Round TUIT” as a sign to spark ideas for moving us forward in getting our “to-do” list to the “to-done” phase.  Making progress can also give us a good feeling of checking off the items that are awaiting such marks.

When we fulfill doing things that give us satisfaction the feeling takes us to newer levels.  We may even sense renewal, making our spirit more alive.

The little “Round TUIT” can generate a lot of energy that lifts to where we didn’t think possible.  Places we’re getting to may also be where ideas for additional projects happen.

Impact to our “to-do” list might grow, and be needed inspiration for many more things.  Having the push that gets us moving forward could be what we require to be active and motivated.  You have “a Round TUIT” to help.
