The Space Between People May Be Holy Ground

The Space Between People May Be Holy Ground

Our connections strengthen the community bonds, extending us to more than what we thought possible.  We limit ourselves when there is an inward focus, but an outward view can build us up to incredible levels.

The relationships established may be long lasting and to the point of feeding each other in ways that are blessings to one another and to others.  When we’re being close to others a friendship foundation can be built, truly multiplying our environment phenomenally.

Openness broadens horizons giving newer perspectives to our views, while expanding what we sense as possibilities.  Accepting ideas can lead us to heights and depths beyond what we thought possible, rounding out so much of our lives.

Pride can be harmful when we focus on the middle letter “I” as inward led.  But proud with the ”OU” for outward can be helpful.  Even if pride is in something or someone, that’s outwardly centered and positive.

Holy connections improve our lives, allowing us to grow beyond limits and into greater beings than we may have thought possible.  One author’s touted the “Best Version of ourselves” as something to work toward and the Holy Ground settings can help us get there.  Be Holy Ground focused!

Invitation of Grace

Invitation of Grace

Grace is a gift to grow beyond ourselves into a community to be the best version of ourselves.  Our participation becomes so much more than we may have thought possible.

“Gardening is an Instrument to Grace” attributed to Mary Sarton.  An activity such as music or writing or cooking or gardening, etc., could open up to so many possibilities, shining light in various areas of our lives.

The gift of Grace bestowed upon us enlivens our very being to lift us to newer heights giving us unrealized perspectives.  When an activity is a blessing unto us we’re charged up to levels we may not have expected to be available to us.

Receiving a gift is very different from “taking”, because we await that which is freely given; and the presence fills us with more than we may have anticipated.  The call to participate brings us to places that may not be part our considering.

Asking us to join could be the step toward fulfilling community minded thoughts and building bonds strengthening togetherness.  Being invited to go past ourselves, uniting with others is an extension toward solidly fitting in a rightful place.  Accept the invitation, be a part of something bigger.

Tikkun Olam

Tikkun Olam

Recently I heard, “When we do, we are Tikkun Olam, repairers of the world.”  We have many opportunities to fix things within our grasp, and set things right by our contributions.

On a show I heard:  "The best way to help yourself is to put your arm around someone else."  As I faced challenges, I prayed; and the answer I received was “Go find someone to help.”  I did so, and when I came back to my own situation very little may have changed, but I was different.

And my approach to handling the problem is affected differently.  I am able to be a “repairer” in a varied way.  And that “different way” gives me a newer perspective which may share an outlook that blesses others.

Receiving a gift from another adds to our lives in ways we previously did not expect, maybe filling us with hope.  When we accept challenges as potential possibilities and make our dedication and effort a part of what we do much is accomplished.

Being on pace to become the best version of ourselves our needed focus should be on making the situations functional.  So much is broken in our community and waiting for our repairer handiwork; be Tikkun Olam!

Tikkun Olam -- Tikkun olam (Hebrew: תִּיקּוּן עוֹלָם, lit. 'repairing of the world') is a concept in Judaism, which refers to various forms of action intended to repair and improve the world. In classical rabbinic literature, the phrase referred to legal enactments intended to preserve the social order.

The “Being Real” Revelation

The “Being Real” Revelation

A preacher once wrote, “Ministry is not about being right.  Ministry is about being real.”  It is not limited to just ministry, but it fits with other areas of life too.

When we become “REAL” there is so much added to our life as well as the sharing that blesses others crossing our path.  We’re uplifted to be more than the person we thought, and may be a contributor in the lives of another.

Upon taking steps toward our potential raises who we are to newer levels possibly unimagined.  Realizing what’s made us real could make strides to amazing characteristics.

The story we’re part of spark ideas that inspire someone to do things they previously didn’t know was possible.  What gets revealed to us might show us ways to a new pathway.

Magnificent roads might lead to travel and discover beauty in the locations we thought beyond our reach.  Being Real opens us up to much perspective and “Aha moments” to sense incredible results.  Be Real.
