From
Love instead of For Love
We are challenged to make choices and act with caring,
compassion and kindness, being loving to others, putting their needs ahead of
our own. I should not look to fulfill my
interests before another’s requirements.
Our “From Love” deeds might go beyond the gift phase into
the giving perspective which could fill us with newness. Having a focus that appeals to the betterment
of environments might make improvements to our setting in the way allowing a
hope filled outlook.
Something wonderful happens when we tear up our scorecard
and live from love. Being other-centered
we may see much more clearly, plus giving appears to elevate us to heights
beyond any we’ve previously seen.
When faced with an issue or challenge, especially a financial
problem and I prayed about it, the message I received was “Find someone to help.” When I returned to my own situation, very
little may have changed, but the thing that was different was me. And how I proceeded was varied.
