Be ATTRACT-ive!

         A recent image included the message:  “Don’t try to attract butterflies.  Tend your garden and they will come.”  So when we work on our inherent beauty, then that becomes attractive for the right ones.

         To draw in the ones we consider beautiful, making ourselves worthy of their presence is truly the result to achieve.  Sensing artistic traits about us enhances our lives in tremendous ways.

         We’re inspired anytime we are open to such possibilities, and they’re benefits to us and all we encounter.  Sitting in awe of all around us may be the spark needed to get to that next level.

         In silence there could be the messages that bring the height as well as depth helping our experiencing tremendous results.  A garden or even a canvas or any other medium offers some blank space to create mastery in various formats.

         Being ourselves can emphasize phenomenal traits that reveal much goodness as we affect those close to us.  Our focus has an amazing reach to motivate others toward their future endeavors.  Be, that they can be too!

We’re Inherent Healers

We’re Inherent Healers

         We do not become ______ (Artists, writers, compassionate, loving, kind, etc.); We are!  The traits we achieve are discovered and uncovered to find what has been planted in us from the start.

         Our bodies begin the healing process when a cut or injury or trauma is inflicted upon us.  So the inherent healer mindset is built into our way of thinking, to the point it is automatic in some of our thought processes.

         Over the years I’ve had many injuries, and witnessed countless other ones.  In most cases the healing process began well before treatment was administered.  In some instances medical attention wasn’t required.

         It is so amazing that we’re created with such power to fix most of the things we do to ourselves.  Plus we could ask someone or seek out info to repair what needs mending.  Even DIY (Do-It-Yourself) is a current term.

         When I first got married my wife told me I better learn to fix things, we couldn’t afford to hire someone to do that.  We don’t have to know it all, we just have to know who to ask, or now where to search.  Doing is reachable!

The Ultimate Measure

         “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in comfort and convenience, but where he stands in challenge and controversy,” by Martin Luther King Jr.  The true standard we’re held to is who and how we help others.

         Bread is an important part of our faith, but it must be broken to be shared.  So if we feel like we are broken, we’re being prepared in order to be shared.        

         We can get ideas and suggestions by paying attention to the input we get from the people that contact with us.  Anyone can raise to great heights to inspire our actions.

         A guy who writes reflections has used “We can spill light.  We don’t need light spilling classes or workshops.”  When I saw this recently, what occurred to me was “we are not challenged to spill darkness.”

         Any opportunities we face as issues or problems need to be uplifting to have a positive effect on our environments.  Over the years I’ve learned that we connect better with others through our brokenness than through our wholeness.  Don’t look down, measure up!

Consider Possibilities, Be Open To ______!

         There’s so much for us to choose from that’s ahead on the path we’re seeing and contemplating.  And what are we open to include that will make significant changes in our future?

         Poet Mary Oliver asked, “Tell me what you plan to do with your wild and precious life?”  When someone’s query is striking to our mindset, then sparks may take us to renewed hopes.

         The possibilities may be endless as chances presented to our being with positivity and uplifting for us and all those close to our path.  So many things we’re given to consider gives us various options to make happen in the journey that is our pursuit.

         A guy said to someone, “I don’t think I can lead ______.”  She said, “You cannot, but what you will do has already been laid out for you.”  When we are open to what is presented to us, then the choices might be easier to make.

         I recently heard, “Take one step at a time.  Then do what’s next.”  Our step-by-step pathway could be simple in making decisions.  Don’t overthink the easy choices, “Over-analysis Causes Paralysis”.

The Longest Good Friday

The Longest Good Friday

         We are in the season of Lent, and entered the Easter Triduum (Holy Thursday,  Good Friday and up to the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday then Easter Sunday). This is the culmination of the 40 days.

         On Holy Thursday we have the Last Supper Mass, and at the Good Friday service we remember the arrest, trial, crucifixion, death and burial of Jesus. Then in the evening Holy Saturday is the Easter Vigil, when we welcome the newest members of our church and begin the celebration of our Lord's Resurrection.

On this we base our faith: Our redemption through Jesus Christ. That is why we have hope, because Jesus overcame death and gives us a chance at eternal life. If we don't believe in what Jesus accomplished or we've lost hope for eternal life then we are living with a "Good Friday" mentality.

When Jesus died the Disciples and other followers were hopeless -- there was no leader, no king, no victory and no future. They were scared because the security they felt in Jesus' presence was gone.  But then came the resurrection.

It was not just the Resurrection of Jesus' Body.  It was also their reconciliation to the kingdom of God, the Resurrection of their hope, strength, and renewal of life for us all.  Jesus' Resurrection means all these things to us still.  Jesus is the "mourning-after" remedy. No longer do we have to mourn the loss caused by Adam's and Eve's sin.  Our hope is alive again.

         We have been given a release from the "Good Friday mindset, to focus on the "Easter" perspective. We have reconciled to the kingdom of God and reconnected to hopefulness.  We have the everlasting Leader, King, Victory and Future.

         Jesus’ resurrection is the key to our salvation. That key is love, the Word made flesh, that saved us. A key unlocks the door, but going through still requires some action.  Jesus showed us The Way, proclaimed The Truth, and shares The Life.  Being one with Christ means living the Resurrection.

         Jesus is alive and we are alive in Him.  His tomb was empty -- Are we still entombed in some way?  Eternal Life is within our grasp.  Latch on to that!

When I saw this picture, I commented "That was the first Black Friday, but with eternal savings."

Choices, Chances, Changes!

Choices, Chances, Changes!

         The options we face and decisions made can result in differences in our lives.  If only seeing the possibilities there is so much that might happen on our journey through this life.

         I am a “plays-on-words” person, so what came to my mind is C-sonal, and “The Open C’s” related to this topic.  I’ve been so C-struck with multi- tangents drawing me in various directions.

         When this topic inspired me, I saw:  “You must make a choice to take a chance or your life will never change.  The “C” of possibilities is so deep, and within all we grasp.”

         The “move forward” decisions pull us with great magnetism toward a future filled with potential and hope.  Answering the questions ahead of us give perspective to lead our motivations.

         Words have so much power and can have such potency as they mix with the basic ingredients for tremendous nourishment.  The C-soning can be a vital part of the flavoring our life has.  C’s the day y’all.

Being HERO-ic!

Being HERO-ic!

         There is so much to be challenging us that we can become the best versions of ourselves.  And in so doing we also inspire those around us to accomplish their best and most.

         Someone once said, “Be who you were created to be and you will set the world on fire.”  The spark and blaze within our grasp can make so good the possibilities for us and all brought to our path.

         The perspective to do all we can leads us to greatness and reflects tremendously to make a phenomenal difference.  Being available in caring ways plus kindness in our deeds has positive signs.

         Heroism opportunities presented seem to lift us up in similar paths as those that closely journey our way.  We didn’t awaken expecting this to be the walk we’d walk.

         Most we see as heroes don’t see anything outstanding in their deeds, but it just normal the “do” they’ve accomplished.  It is easier for other’s to notice greatness in what may appear regular for us.  Just do, they’ll notice!

We’re Created To Create

We’re Created To Create

         We have been created that things can happen because of us, and others may benefit that we are there.  The inspiration we get plus also we provide a round-and-round occurrence.

           Socializing opportunities fill our lives, and can be blessings to any others that are brought to our path.  Picking up nuggets of ideas from the people near to us propel our journey unto incredible heights.

         Being open to the possibilities fulfill goals to such magnificent levels and results could be so amazing.  Accomplishing the phenomenal is seen as beyond the scope of we thought was achievable.

         Anything we would do is making a project doable and within our own grasp to fit into a spectrum to light up our vicinity.  Create and creative are closely connected and renewal can happen and beauty may show through in tremendous ways.

         Someone once said, “If we become who we were created to be, we will set the world on fire.”  So sparks and blazes are in the realm of any of the outreach we have.  We’re made to make ______!

Every Storm Runs Out Of Rain

         There are many storms that come our way, but any storm we face is going to run out of rain eventually.  The rainfall may be devastating but will sooner or later be expunged of it’s storehouse.

         The poet Maya Angelou was quoted, “Every storm runs out of rain.”  Her words provide magnificent inspiration for me, in sharings and stories as they touch many to whom I reach out.

         Other words that tie in are “Today’s struggles are tomorrow’s wings.”  We’re built up and strengthened today to handle tomorrow’s challenges, issues and problems.

         Clouds around us can make things darker, but we can be bright spots that illuminate environments.  We shine and may spill light to inspire needs of people requiring encouragement.

         Reflections shared by another might energize us and fill our cup of self-esteem to an overflowing level.  When we reach the “beyond the brim” point of positivity then all around us are blessed.  We’re fed, all are fed!

Not Our Limitations,

But The Infinite Within

         “What we’re afraid of is not our limitations, but the infinite within us.”  -- Nelson Mandela.  It is not the things that constrict us that scare us, but our potential of what we might be able to do.

         The innovation to accomplish may interfere with our thinking of the “can-do” mindset we possess.  Anything that inspires us with ideas that is challenging to the goals in our future can make the impossible possible.

         That which is infinite could lead to greater journeys, with incredible sights for us to sense.  Plans and ideas presented our way may incentivize us to try some things out of our comfort zone.

         Anything we reach for as achievable might raise our endeavors to levels maybe thought out of bounds.  Stretching our capacity is a way of bringing us to new prospects and horizons.

         The brightness takes us to new places and shifts our perspective on any focus in an exquisite realm.  Infinite availabilities to us are expansive as we reach for the incredible things within our grasp.  We’re multi-blessed!
