Be A Riverbank:
Receive
From Upstream And Hand On
I heard recently that a riverbank channels the river to flow
on down stream, and only forward, not backward.
Similarly we receive and then we hand on to feed the next ones.
Our task is to be productive in blessing the environment
around us, and inspire the community of which we are a part. Enriching the grounds that connect us to
others results in a blossoming journey.
Diving head first into the depths can be dangerous, but
maybe what is needed to challenge us to get to that next level. Being amidst the rocky path that lies in our
way could be the stepping stones to get past issues as blocks that impede our
progress.
The riverbank is made richer by the flowing water, just like
we are so enhanced by the many experiences that fill our lives. Being immersed in all we encounter can change
us only to the allowable point.
Choosing to absorb what goes by can be so enriching, and then there is more we can share with others. We can only hand on what we pocket on our way. Receive all you can to have resources to gift another.
