Praise-wordy -- we should not be.

 

          We should praise God at all times, in everything we do.  We should be praising God in all the words we say also.  But do we do those things?  Probably not.

          But God is worthy of all the praising we can offer.  God blesses our lives in so many ways, if only we pay attention to what is happening.  If we see/hear/touch/sense the ways that we are so blessed, we can sing about and pray and praise in many ways.

          The ways we offer our praises can be over the top “wordy”, more than necessary.  God doesn’t need to hear the words we offer, God already knows the way we feel.

          The praises we offer can be quiet and God still knows we’ve given them.  Our “wordiness” is for our sake, and that might help us concentrate on praying.  But God connects with us even in silence.  That way God can talk to us, and say more.  God can give us thoughts that can feed us in so many ways.
