Goodness Almost Achieved
I recently heard Paul McCartney recorded “Memory Almost Full”. On hearing that, it sparked the idea for this story. Our accomplishments are inspired by something suggested from another and we have chances to bring it to fruition.
Our
level of “goodness” could benefit others or ourselves to a point of helping that
person’s self esteem factor. Putting another’s
needs ahead of our own is a key in acting kindly.
A
Christmas story I wrote a few years ago was titled “Be Present” (posted on the ianam.blogspot.com BLOG 12/22/16). It had two meanings; one was “be aware” of
our situation and the other was “be a gift” to another.
That
“Be Present” could be a contribution toward the fullness of that goodness being
achieved. Getting gifts this time of
year may be one part, but the people we spend these holidays with adds so much
to occasions we celebrate.
