There’s More To Say

There’s More To Say

We get caught up by chances that sometimes leave us speechless, but then there are times when the “More to say” just comes out.  Outbursts such as these can be encouraging and inspiring, while blessing those near and far, in our environments.

At a Mozart concert by Handel and Haydin Orchestra in Boston, at the end there was a moment of silence.  It was broken by a child saying “Wow.”  That became quite a story, and the Society searched for the child.  Upon finding the child they learned of his special needs and how music is important to him.

The man who shared this as part of his reflection that sometimes we miss the wonder and awe, and moments of “Wow” give us pause into the incredible places that bring us renewal.  Such enthusiasm experienced can make differences for us and those we impact with words and actions.

The place I volunteer had a Maya Angelou quote, “Be a rainbow in someone’s cloud.”  Our positivity can make another’s life brighter and their outlook incredible.

This season may be gift-giving for us, but also around the corner is a renewed year.  Many say “Happy New Year”, but it’s built on the past, so it a renewal we’re moving into, not starting over.  Wow us, wow others!
