Live Differently
Many things affect our lives, and we have to make
choices to move in various directions.
Our plans for how something should be can be adjusted by circumstances
beyond the control we steer to a path outside the realms of what we understand.
In a recent Terry Hershey’s Sabbath Moment reflection he shared
an experience of a family at a restaurant and a 5 year old girl getting to
order a hot dog. She said “Mom and Dad,
the waitress thinks I’m real.”
When we’re recognized as “REAL”, our self-esteem is boosted
to a point where our level of worth increases.
And we live differently because of that.
The renewed person we are then shares blessings with others
that are brought to our path. Connections
made strengthen bonds enhancing our community beyond what we envisioned.
