What Made You Glad Today?

What Made You Glad Today?

I used to ask people what they did?  Then I changed it to “What’s keeping you busy?”  Recently at a talk, the speaker suggested, “What makes you glad today?”

So that makes a shift in perspective to get a conversation going in a newer direction.  It has someone sharing things about their lives they may not have intended to offer.

I used to ask kids, “What do you want to do or be when you’re grown up?”  But now I ask, “How do you want to change the world?”  That kind of querying might get them to think outside the box, into a new paradigm.

Having exploratory questions could expand our sights and stretch our imaginations to experience renewal beyond any we may have expected.  A point that may be revealed to project immense discovery we didn’t see as a possibility.

The joy we sense might enhance our lives to a great degree, opening viewpoints refreshingly.  Shaping the ideas and plans into results that forms outcomes can be creative in sharing inspiration with all we meet.  Be glad!
