Sounds
Like Excellent Nonsense!
In Matthew Kelly’s book, “Slowing Down To The Speed Of Joy”, as a teenager he had excuses and justifications for why he didn’t fulfill what was required of him, then one teacher responded, “That sounds like excellent nonsense.” He also brought up our battle with busyness.
Most of us have fast paced lives and
don’t take the time to enjoy many moments that should be pleasurable. Taking time to smell the roses adds beautiful
moments to our existence and we can cherish the memories.
Sitting in quiet contemplation can be
relaxing and refreshing if only we let ourselves absorb the encumbering
goodness. We’re fed the nutrients that
enrich our beings to such heightened levels.
Putting us in places where we benefit others
allowing them to become the best versions of themselves enhances the community
we inhabit. The environment we’re in
give us and another to thrive thus filling our spacing with inspiration to
accomplish incredible actions.
