True Grace Is Stubborn

True Grace Is Stubborn

Grace as I’ve learned it is a gift, but the giver stubbornly stays in our lives to get us to make choices in improving our perspective.  We’re given examples to share the blessings and edify the person brought to our path.

We may receive what is given to us, but then we also have to unwrap the package we’ve gotten to have it be effective and affective.  Precious is what is handed to us, but then we have to put it to productive use that it can benefit others that come close.

Ours is the challenge to be diligent in becoming the best version of ourselves, and making good decisions toward that goal.  On a TV show it included “You can’t change who you are to ______.  All you can do is show grace.”

On a reflection the author wrote “True grace is stubborn.  It refuses to give up on people.  It dares to sit at the table and understand.  It’s power under versus power over.  And it dares to move through the world with a heart that’s soft and resilient.”

Accept the gift given, as it is precious and the giver is generous.
